Our roots

From Chinland to Kitchener–Waterloo

Chinland is the ancestral homeland of the Chin people, situated in the western highlands of Myanmar along the border with India. Today, Chin families in Canada continue to honour their language, culture, traditions, and shared identity while building a strong future together.
